Or could the file size somehow affect the lag? Bold theory but hear me out: My laptop is NOT made for gaming. I watched a video about this but I can’t remember. I thought maybe it is because the last time I did these first areas of the game was when I was a new player with no experience but… That still doesn’t explain the hitboxes.
The second file is really accurate and I managed to do some cool skips first try. The first file sometimes just doesn’t react. It also seems like this one reacts to the controller better. I guess there was a one pixel gap or something but I was really close. Not everything that Hollow Knight pulls from the Souls series fits especially. Then there is my second file - a Steel Soul one - and I basically almost touched the enemies and still didn’t take damage. It didn’t look like I touched him and still died.
In the Vengefly King fight it seemed like the hitboxes were really weird. How Cautious If you follow all the above advice, then there is little reason to be all too cautious in the moment to moment gameplay. Just defeat the Hollow Knight to get either the Hollow Knight or Sealed Siblings ending. I have one normal gamefile where I am currently trying to beat the Pantheons but I keep dying. For both Steel Soul and Steel Heart, defeating the Radiance isn’t necessary, so don’t. Am I going crazy or does Hollow Knight get harder towards the end? Let me explain: Im not the best at memorizing 20+ different boss patterns but I would really like to try out a Steel Soul 100 run in Hollow.
